1. Introduction

Good Hands Electric Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a licensed, bonded, and insured electrical contractor serving Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, and surrounding areas. By requesting or receiving our services, you (“you”, “client”, “customer”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services

We provide electrical installation, repair, maintenance, EV charging solutions, and emergency services in compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable municipal requirements.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • Written quotes are estimates only. Final pricing may change due to site conditions, scope changes, or material availability.
  • Any additions or variations will be confirmed with you before proceeding.

4. Payments

  • A deposit may be required prior to scheduling.
  • Balance is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Late or overdue amounts may accrue interest/administration fees.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
  • Short-notice cancellations may incur a call-out or cancellation fee.

6. Site Access & Safety

  • You agree to provide safe access to the work area and disclose any known hazards.
  • We may refuse or pause work if conditions are unsafe or non-compliant.

7. Liability

  • We perform work to code and industry standards.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing issues, hidden defects, or misuse after completion.
  • Consequential or indirect losses are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by BC law.

8. Warranties

  • Workmanship: 1-year warranty from completion unless stated otherwise.
  • Materials: Covered by manufacturer warranties only.
  • Warranty is void if others alter our work, or in cases of misuse/neglect.

9. Emergency & After-Hours Rates

After-hours, weekend, and holiday services are billed at higher rates. We will advise rates before work begins where practicable.

10. Materials & Ownership

All materials remain our property until paid in full. We may remove or reclaim unpaid materials in accordance with applicable laws.

11. Photos & Portfolio

With your permission, we may take non-identifying before/after photos for documentation and portfolio purposes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be handled in the provincial courts of BC.
